I went by St. Thomas today and picked up a CD of pictures from the baptism. The church provided someone to take pictures of the baptism, and they are WONDERFUL! Below is a link...enjoy!

September 21...
Sorry I have not updated sooner! Josh had this past week off work, so we spent time together as a family and doing things around the house. In addition, we got back late last night from a 3 day trip to KC...
One week ago today, Keatin was baptized at St. Thomas Aquinas in Ames. As Josh and I tend to do, we did not get our camera out for most of the pictures. I know my dad has TONS of good ones on his camera and e-mailed him last week to e-mail me the pics...as my dad goes, I am still waiting. :) Also, I have to run by the church to pick up some pics that the church provided. SO...baptism pictures to follow... It was a wonderful weekend, Keatin didn't cry at all, and we were very blessed to have all our family (and Becca) there - Grandma and Grandpa Petersen, Great-Grandma Petersen, Jen & Joey (godparents), Aunt Bri, Grandma and Grandpa Barber, and Great-Grandma/Great-Grandpa Heeren.
We went to Emporia, KS on Thursday to see Ben, Michelle, Peyton, and Copper...had a great time and it was fun to introduce Keatin to the McCollums. Then on Friday, we met my cousin Emily for lunch in KC and introduced Crimson and Emily's bulldog Arnold. After that, it was off to Bryan & Erika Hunt's for the night. They are Josh's friends from NWMSU and they just had their 1st baby in June...Parker. He is ADORABLE and we had a great time at their house...and Crimson got to play with their dogs. ALSO - Sterls (Josh's old roommate) and his girlfriend Ginny came over to the Hunt's on Friday night for pizza and video game playing. :) Saturday Josh got to go to NE Furniture Mart, so his trip was officially complete. :) It was a GREAT time...tiring, but so wonderful because we got to see so many people/friends.
Below is a link to pictures...hopefully the description above will explain all the people in the pics! :) (OH...Keatin's red outfit in the first couple pictures are her Cyclone cheerleading outfit from the day of the ISU/Iowa game.) :)

A rainy Monday...
I am totally feeling like summer is over on a day like today - yuck! It is rainy and cold in Ames...not sure Crimson, Keatin, and I will get out on a walk...
Keatin saw her pediatric orthopedist last Tuesday and he said her hips were feeling great! He adjusted the harness again and basically told us to come back in a month and we should be able to discontinue the harness. I was SO happy and relieved... We are counting down the days until the harness can come off and Keatin can start kicking those legs!
We went to Cedar Falls this weekend to visit Aaron, Trish, and Lane. We had a fun time, but never got a pic of Lane and Keatin together - next time... Lane looks like a GIANT next to her...we think they have eyes for each other. :) While we were there, Keatin pooped all over Josh's stomach and shorts in the middle of the night...and on her stinkin' harness AGAIN. I attempted to clean the thing last night...another reason why we are counting down the days... :) Also over the weekend, Keatin has started to loose the hair on the top of her head and had some baby acne on her cheeks - yikes!
Other than that, below is a link to look at some newer pics... Enjoy! We are looking forward to Keatin's baptism this weekend...
