more weekend pics

Got a few more pics from our weekend in Storm Lake. :)

"Seriously Grandma???" :)

Keatin was busy feeding Grandma's babies on Saturday morning. She HAD to have mommy's boppy pillow...it was cute. :)

Eating some mac & cheese after getting her hair done...mac & cheese makes everything better, right? :)

Aunt Bri & Uncle Tyler

Keatin and Will can now say they have an Uncle Tyler...Bri & Tyler tied the knot over the weekend!

Josh headed back to Storm Lake on Thursday with Keatin, and Will and I joined in the fun Friday afternoon. Josh was a groomsman and Miss Keatin was the flower girl. I was quite nervous that she wouldn't know what to do or would freeze and not go down the aisle. Will was the honorary ring bearer, but obviously he wasn't going to be walking down the aisle with Keatin. :) However, she did wonderful and might be the most efficient flower girl I have ever seen...she ran herself right down the aisle to her daddy. :) Nonetheless, I was so proud of her and she just looked so grown up! We had a great, exhausting weekend...and are so happy for Bri & Tyler.

Below are pics I got on my camera...my dad is supposed to be e-mailing me some more from their camera, so will post them when I get them! I realized I didn't get a picture of the 4 of us all dressed up - gosh, it was like I was a bit busy or something. :)

Saturday morning with Grandma Petersen...seriously, don't you love the drool? :)

Keatin getting her hair done...she did not like this part of the festivities...in fact, she cried through most of it and I had to hold her on my lap.

At the church before the ceremony... :)

Aunt Bri & Keatin :)

OK - this is the one pic I got of Keatin going down the aisle...she was fast! But if you look closely/zoom in on the picture, everyone on the alter is just SMILING at her...I love it. :)

Tyler and Josh - brother-in-laws :)

Sunday morning at gift opening...look at my boys. :)

The loves of my life... :)

we've been busy!!

We have been a busy family lately! And we are preparing for Aunt Bri's wedding this weekend - whew! (OK - I have been trying to prepare for the wedding...the kids are oblivious it is even coming up!) :)

Here are my 3 loves...cuddling and looking at something on the computer. :)

Took these pics over the weekend...Will's tongue hangs out of his mouth every time I put him in the exersaucer. I think he is concentrating. :)

Josh's friends from college, Bryan & Erika, came up from Kansas City for the weekend with their son, Parker. Parker is 2 months older than Keatin, so it was GREAT to have a play buddy around! I know I have posted this on my blog before, but read more about Bryan & Erika's wish to adopt a baby into their family here.

The dads took Parker and Keatin to the playground on Saturday afternoon...they came back nice and muddy, so I am guessing that means they had a great time!

(Seriously, why is Josh on the ground with a camera in his hand at this moment???!!!!)

For the next 4 weeks, Keatin is taking swim lessons on Monday and Wednesday nights. Lyle and Becca signed Jack up as well, and they had their first class on Monday night. We go back tonight for more fun...and I believe Becca and I will be getting in the pool this time. :) Keatin had a BLAST and has been asking ever since about the pool. :)

[3 months]

Will is 3 months old today!!! We got his 3 month pics taken this morning...look at what a smiling boy he has become!

Will - at 3 months you...

Wear Size 2 diapers.
Wear 3-6 month clothes...and some of those sleepers are looking pretty short!
Eat 6 times a day.
For the past 2 weeks, you have not eaten in the middle of the night. I typically feed you between 830-915 pm and lay you down for the night. Some mornings, we hear you fussing by 445 or so...but we can stick the pacifier in your mouth and you will sleep until mommy is ready to get you up for the day. Don't get me wrong...sometimes we still hear you more than that...but you are getting there!
Give mommy, daddy, and Keatin BIG smiles.
Play with your hands ALL THE TIME. You either hold them in front of your chest, or they are in your mouth! (See picture below.)
Sit in the bumbo seat and stand in the exersaucer (with a blanket propping you up).
Had your 1st official ER visit.
Are SO, SO loved. :)

{musical keatin}

Keatin LOVES music. Josh has somehow got her addicted to all the singing segments of GLEE...so much so, most evenings after supper, she immediately asks for "moosic." (As I am typing, she is singing to Will.) :)

Here is a video from the other night...isn't she good? :)

exersaucer

We busted out the exersaucer last weekend...and Mr. Will likes it! We have to prop him in there with a blanket, but he loves looking at the bright colors/lights...and especially loves having a better view of his sister/all that is going on!

Isn't he cute? :)

SM pride

Josh and I are just a bit proud today... :)

Our high school, Storm Lake St. Mary's, won the Class 1A boys state basketball title last night at Wells Fargo in Des Moines. We all went down to cheer the Panthers on, and it was an awesome win.

Click here and here to read more about it - so cool! :)

refuge

Sometimes, this gal needs some refuge. This is her new favorite spot. :)

me & my girl

I am home from work today...a teacher comp day because of PT conferences this week. Keatin, Will, & I have been hanging out all day. Took Will to the doctor this morning for a re-check and sounds like he is on the mend. Keatin was a good girl, so we swung by the library for a bit on our way back home.

I knew we would have a lot of at home time/inside time this weekend, so borrowed some toys from Becca's kindergarten classroom before I left school last night. Of course, everything has been a BIG hit. :)

Will was snoozing after we got back from the library, so Keatin and I had alone play time before her nap. She decided the kitchen was the best place to break into these activities, and told me "not pick up toys" when she laid down for her nap. :) I think we will have more play time later!

These are "birfday cakes" for "mommy, daddy, crimmy, and Becca." :)
