(Slides)

Doesn't everyone love a good slide?? :)

We went sliding last night at the Summerfest carnival in Bondurant...

...and sliding more this morning at the indoor playground! Weeee!

Adventureland!

First trip to Adventureland - check! (One of the items on our bucket list). We had a great time - it was like Will was there for the first time all over again...it was so much fun! We met our friends TJ, Greta, and Calvin there...lots of fun for everyone!

(Last week)

Last week...

Will are sloppy joe sandwiches like 4 days in a row...he was loving grandma petersen's sloppy joes!

Keatin had a friend over to play...

Ruby cuddled with our neighbor dog, Jackson.

We ate ice cream!

Umm...josh drive us home from sand volleyball... :) :)

Will and I watched Keatin sing on the last day of bible school.

Ate Cherry Berry for lunch (shhh...don't tell daddy). :)

Catch Up #2

Catch up #2! :)

Keatin had field day one of the last days of school. I was able to go help some/watch. She had fun! And then got really sick the day after - oops!

Ruby lays all over our yard...but had to snap a picture the day I found her laying in the wood chips below Crimson's tree...it was like both our doggies laying together. :)

Catch Up #1

I am calling this post: catch up #1. :) So here is a start to sharing what we have been up to the last couple weeks!

Bought Will an Ironman bike helmet...this is him, striking a pose. :)

Keatin, Aly, and I over Memorial Day weekend...hanging out with the neighbors in the driveway...we do this almost daily. :)

And Happy Father's Day to all the great dads out there! Keatin and Will are beyond blessed to have Josh as their daddy...I get to parent with the best companion. Josh protects our kids...loves them...teases them...yet has an extremely soft heart for them. We love our daddy!

Sleeping - Surgery - Summer

You know...when you have an infant, you watch/see them sleep all the time.

Yesterday Will took a nap at DeWild's house while I took Keatin to the doctor...pre-op appointment, getting adenoids out and ear tubes in tomorrow morning... Anyways, we got back and everyone was still sleeping...and I snapped these pictures of my baby boy. I don't remember the last time I watched him sleep...it was sweet to see his still face...made me smile. :)

And since it summer...we have started a few things around the Barber residence...the Barber Family Rules/behavior & clip chart...I know...I can't get the "school" out of me. :)

Our summer bucket list...a work in progress...

And our 100 book reading challenge...every time K or W reads a book, they get to color in a box...just wanted something to encourage Keatin to keep reading!

Say a prayer for Keatin tomorrow that her surgery goes well...we just want it over with!
