Where to begin??

I honestly don't know! I have so neglected the blog...been busy, but everyone is busy and never too busy to document my life/our lives! SO...here is a long overdue update!

We went to the zoo on one of those oddly cool July days...

Daddy day at Adventureland...this was Keatin's dream. :)

We played in the sprinkler a lot...

Had summer afternoon snacks...

And wrapped up tot tball at the end of July!

(Last week)

We cuddled babies...

...and puppies.

Went to story time at the library...

...and had play dates/sleepovers with two different friends.

Keatin received a card from her first grade teacher...MADE her day!

We went to the Nevada pool...could not get Keatin off the water slides!

And we ended our Saturday evening with a few hours at the campground with friends!

I do stay home in the summer...

...but we keep pretty busy...and I have been trying to be better about putting my phone down and just "being" with K & W... However, time for a quick update on this gorgeous Sunday!

When we got back from Okoboji, these two acted like they hadn't seen each other in years. :)

We have been back to adventureland...of course. :)

Picnic lunch at the park one day...

I ran an 8K...

We cooked hot dogs and s'mores with neighbors...

And ended lots of evenings with goggles in the bathtub!

Fourth of July

Little belated with my Fourth of July pictures - shock! :)

We were in Storm Lake and I started the day by doing the Ride-Run race with my brother in law Tyler around the lake...I am ridiculous, but I love this race!

Then the parade with our friends Troy and Mia...

Did a little swimming midday and ended the day with fireworks...love this picture of the four of us! Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!!

In the last week...

Keatin had her last tball game of the season...

We painted with homemade sidewalk paint during the few hours of sunshine we had this week...

Tried swim lessons but only got one out of four days in...rescheduled for next week.

Made a quick dash to adventureland one morning...

Will had his first tot tball game - he did so good!

Played in the basement...

And had two doctor's appointments and a lunch date with my girl. :)
