I realized I have about 439 pictures from Christmas 2012 - haha. :) So fair warning before you continue on with this post. :) But for those of you who want a peek into the Barbers Christmas 2012...here you go!
On the 23rd, we headed to LeMars to see my grandma and attend the Petersen family Christmas...a big gathering of about 50 extended family members! At my grandma's house, we let Will open a belated birthday present from J & J...
...a car mat/rug! And who would have known...it is perfect for tackling! Ha!
Keatin read a book with my cousin Eric...
...and then Keatin and Will ran loose in my grandma's basement. It is HUGE and perfect for running off some steam!
At the Petersen Family Christmas, Keatin was in HEAVEN...lots of little kids to play with, including my cousin's daughter, Ella. These 2 were born 11 days apart...
Back at G & G Petersen's house on Christmas Eve morning, we opened a few presents...
...including a baby doll pack-n-play...
...and several puzzle-type toys, which are Will's recent FAVORITE. :)
The Petersen clan before Christmas Eve Mass...
Christmas morning at G & G Barber's house!
Grandpa Barber trying to give camera lessons - ha! :)
OOHHH - more puzzles!
A princess collection = Keatin was in heaven. :)
A trike for this spring/summer!
Keatin also received a beauty shop set...which has basically not left her side since. :)
Christmas Day, back at G & G Petersen's house. Honestly, Will was SHOT by the time we got there...this is how he spent our gift opening...which was fine and probably made it more enjoyable for all parties involved!
This is what Keatin made for mommy and daddy...will have to get it framed. Made me tear up. :)
And finally...back at home, the night after Christmas...we opened gifts, just the 4 of us.
Pinkalicious books...
...and a bead set...both big hits!
Will was refreshed and ready for more presents!
This is a train set that G & G Barber got Will, but we didn't open until we got back to Ankeny. It has been a HUGE success...both kids promptly started playing with it as soon as it was opened!
We had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. Our kids are so very blessed to be loved by so may people. :)
